Tarot Tuesday - Blogtober Day Two

Hey y’all! Welcome to day 2 of Blogtober. I thought it’d be fun to do Tarot Tuesday’s during blogtober. I think it matches the overall vibe of the month of October. Some of you might be wondering what exactly are Tarot Cards. In my opinion, Tarot cards are a more complex version of the magic eight ball. You can ask the cards a question and it give you guidance. The deck I will be using today is the Medicine Woman Tarot Deck & Book Set, which appeared in my September Favorites. I will be drawing 3 cards for myself.

“I trust that the universe gives me exactly what I need at exactly the right time. Everything works out perfectly.” -unknown.

  1. Healing: This is the 3rd time this week I’ve pulled this card. To me that means that I either didn’t understand the message or I need to look at it in a new perspective as there could be more than one meaning. In my interpretation of this card it is all about healing of the mind within oneself. Being sure to have positive, healing thoughts.

  2. Four of stones: This is the second time I’ve drawn this card this week. My interpretation of this card is whenever a new venture or journey gets tough and I think about giving up I have to think of why I started in the first place and what my goal is.

  3. Five of stones: This is the first time I have pulled this card. The way I see it is it’s telling me to not work simply for the reward, but do work for the love of what you’re doing and for yourself and that in itself is the reward.

The really cool thing about Tarot’s is you can make it as serious or light-hearted as you want. I personally just find a symbol or message that resonates with me at the time and apply it that way. I don’t take it super literally all the time, I just have fun with it.

Countdown: 29 Days ‘till Halloween!
