Guest Bathroom Must Haves

You may have seen my Guest Room Must Haves. My family lives out of town and we have a few out of town guests planned for visits this year. We only have 1 bathroom in our house so we don’t have a designated guest bathroom but these are the must haves for bathrooms when guests are visiting. *

  1. Clean: Making sure the bathroom is super clean is definitely a must. I keep my bathroom clean all the time since again we only have one if a visitor is over they need to use it. But, making sure the bathroom is freshly deep cleaned is important.

  2. Liquid Hand Soap: Having plenty of liquid hand soap. My husband and I use bar soap normally but some people prefer liquid soap so I like to have that option for guests.

  3. Fresh Towels: Having fresh towels in the guest bedroom is important, also having access to fresh towels in the bathroom is a must as well.

  4. Clean Bath Mat: I prefer to have a machine washable bath mat. That way I can clean it often. Especially, giving it a fresh wash before a guest arrives.

  5. Clear Countertop: Our bathroom counter is super small but I have it cleared off so guests are comfortable and don’t feel like they are intruding into your space.

  6. Extra Toilet Paper Within Reach: This one is an absolute must. We have a cabinet above our toilet that we keep extra toilet paper in it so guests can access more toilet paper as needed.

  7. Poo-Pouri: This is a toilet spray that you spray in the toilet before you go. It’s a simple product to keep above the toilet to help guests feel more comfortable.

  8. Toiletries: Having extra toiletries in case a guest forgets anything or runs out of any of their toiletries during their stay is definitely helpful.

  9. Empty Trash Can: Having a freshly emptied trash can before guests arrived is a good thing to do.
